Larry Power Road overpass to be demolished

Bourbonnais, IL - Beginning Monday, April 20, 2020, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will begin demolition of the existing Larry Power Road overpass as part of the replacement project over Interstate-57. As a result, I-57 will undergo four nightly closures from 7:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. with anticipated conclusion on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 5:30 a.m. Motorists will be detoured via the following routes:

• All northbound traffic on I-57 will be directed off at the 315 exit in Bradley, routed north along IL-50 to Bourbonnais Parkway and back onto I-57 at exit 318.
• All southbound traffic will be directed off at the 318 exit in Bourbonnais, proceed east on Bourbonnais Parkway and routed south on IL-50 to the exit 315 on ramp. 

Please anticipate a significant traffic impact on our communities during that time. Please use caution in the construction areas, and pay close attention to the signage along the detour routes.
