2nd year welcomed more food, more music, more hours, more family-fun
Bourbonnais, IL - The Bourbonnais Food Truck Fest, presented by Brandon Casey's Comfort Crew, trucked into town Saturday, August 27th, for the second annual event. In tow were a total of 15 food trucks, six hours of live music and a free kid zone. The end-of-summer community celebration was extended from 3pm to 9pm and free admission enticed thousands who came hungry and left happy.
Based upon first year attendance, festival organizers increased the number of food trucks from 10 to 15. Food truck vendors included both local favorites and Chicagoland trucks who ventured to Bourbonnais for a Kankakee County debut.

"We were blown away by the outstanding attendance in its first year," explained Marketing & Public Engagement Manager, Lindy Casey.
"What began as an idea to gather the community for some end-of-summer fun, ultimately resulted in thousands of food truck fans. We were much more prepared this year and implemented many organizational improvements to ensure a seamless experience for attendees. None of which would be possible without the support of the Bourbonnais business community. Very thankful for everyone who donated, attended and volunteered for this annual event. It takes a village."
