Community Townhall Meeting - Area One

Bourbonnais Police invite village residents and businesses to attend Community Townhall Meetings on Wednesday, October 19, and Wednesday, October 26. The meetings are part of new safety initiatives spearheaded by Patrol Commander, Brent Barrie.

The goal of the townhall meetings is to bring Bourbonnais neighborhoods together to discuss interest in forming neighborhood watch groups, review different ways to heighten awareness, increase residential communications, address potential concerns and help prevent crime, together.

The Townhall Meetings will be held in the Community Room within the Bourbonnais Municipal Center at 700 Main St. NW. The Village of Bourbonnais is divided into four areas (see attached map) and residents are asked to attend the meeting specific to their designated area.

  • Wednesday, October 19:
    • Area 1: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
    • Area 2: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, October 26:
    • Area 3: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
    • Area 4: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Subdivisions are further identified in the map below. If residents are unable to attend their corresponding meeting, they are welcome to attend any event that is convenient. For those who are unable to attend but would still like to be involved, contact Bourbonnais Police Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at 815-802-5330 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
