Travel center grand opening in Bourbonnais February 12

Bourbonnais, IL – Monday, February 12, 2024, Village of Bourbonnais officials will welcome Road Ranger Travel Center to their new location off Interstate 57 at exit 318 Bourbonnais Parkway. Road Ranger will be celebrating the grand opening of their 50th store and 24th located in Illinois.

On the 11-acre site at 5210 Quebec Drive in the new Bourbonnais Business Park, the 24-hour travel center includes 80 truck parking spaces, eight diesel lanes, six showers, laundry, gaming and EV charging.

Quick service restaurants include Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Church’s Chicken, Subway, Dan’s Pizza, Road Ranger Kitchen and Tejas Tacos.

The public is invited to attend the ribbon-cutting event 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

With the NASCAR Daytona NextEra 250 taking place the same week as the 50th Road Ranger store opening, the No. 98 truck that will run on race day will be present at the grand opening, with a special paint scheme to commemorate the historical opening.

The Daytona truck can be viewed from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a NASCAR Raffle for a 2023 No. 98 Ty Majeski Sheet Metal taking place at 2:00 p.m.

Free giveaways will be provided from Road Ranger, Monster Energy, David’s Cookies, pizza samples and ThorSport/Road Ranger Race Day swag. All will be available on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

Road Ranger Travel Center is headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois, and is the first to be located on Bourbonnais Parkway. It is the third travel center located in Kankakee County.
